The easiest solution to this problem is to use CompassXT from Praxisoft
along with Vector Pro for your Pantone and spot colours. On ouput CMYK
or RGB elements are converted into the RGB or CMYK space of your output
profile.

But this is not what we want.

We want everything to be outputed as it is. If one image is RGB it should stay that way, if another image in the same document is CMYK it should stay that way. If a box is 100%M and 80%Y it should stay that way.

We want our PS-file to be what it is in the document.

This PS-file we then treat with CM in our workflow system and there we only want RGB to be converted to CMYK through our profiles. Nothing else!

As it is today we can't do this unless we replace the images with OPI after the applications PS-stream.
