You could save even more by combining an X-Rite
DTP41 with a ColorVision Monitor Spyder instead of a DTP92...

I already have the DTP92 - I sure saved som dough on it - I got hold of the Viewsonic Superpress package which in reality is the DTP92, an old version of the Photocal software and two monior hoods. And I got the kit 40% lower than the the DTP is sold for as a standalone. The Viewsonic Superpress is still around but the kits are not being sold anymore so quite probably the stuff will be trashed. Viewsonic representatives told me that the Superpress kit is a dead dead dead DEAD product and color calibration stuff branded with the Viewsonic label will never happen again. Harsh words, but I got myself one DTP92 at a nice price. ( The money saved was of course burned the same day on more RAM for a new workstation. )

Hmm, lotsa people like the DTP41.. I do so myself and if not the Pope tell me different I am gonna get it real quick.
