X-RITE stuff - the DTP 41 is nice. Any ideas out there on the

I have both a DTP-41 and a Spectrolino/scan xy table (no z axis though;
that's asking a bit much ;) I use the Spectro because 1) it does not require
custom targets, 2) the idea of the table is to set it up and walk away and
do something useful, but you have to sit there and feed the DTP-41, and 3)
you can remove the Spectrolino from the table and do all kinds of spot
readings, plus you can use it for monitor profiling (including flat panels).
the DTP-41 sits unused in a corner along with a similar X-rite scanning
densitometer. I think we got both of them for free. worth what we paid. I
got the "big [Gretag-MacBeth] bundle" and have been pleased with it. You
also get a ColorCheckerDC with it.
D oh and it's purple! B.
