For one, I want to set the White Point to D65 which I can't do with
PressView software. Optical is a much nicer, more robust product and I'm
pretty sure the Spyder is as accurate if not more than the older PressView
pick. It's very fast too. I also am tired of dealing with all the serial
cable/ADB issues. With the Spyder, I can hot swap the USB into my G4
lickity split. The Java based PressView software was sluggish and there's no
future development as far as I know.
