I have worked with this set-up. Don't get confused by their term of a
*profile* 'cause it ain't ICC profile standard. The newer Xerox machines
supposedly do allow you to load standard ICC profiles but the version you
have does not. You can use the Colorcal (scanner linearization) to keep the
device stable but I prefer to do linearization with a color measurement
device in a profiling package. The profiles I have created have a very large
color gamut that can easily simulate most contract proofers or web presses.
In terms simulation do it up stream in PS6 and not at the RIP.
