Mac version 8, 8.01, 8.03, 10; pc versions 4 thru 10. So many
versions! Such little time!

I recently aquired the Corel products for the purpose of testing their Color
Management. Its actually Corel PhotoPaint that will be of the most interest;
you get a free copy with Draw anyhow... and PhotoPaint, while it aint no
Photoshop, has fairly serious color management capabilities; especially when
placed beside Corel's recently aquired Painter... or worse yet PaintShopPRO
7.0! I'd be happy to figure out what shots you need and send them to you.
Several capabilities: CorelDraw 9 Color Management Edition (PC) came
bundled with LE versions of PrintOpen, ViewOpen, and ScanOpen, Sequel
Gamma sensor and reflective Agfa IT8. PhotoPaint has more interactive
tools for opening various file types (as does Draw in comparison to
oh, lets say Adobe Illustrator) and tends to offer more options in
dealing with old PhotoCD formats, but closes the door somewhat in the
embedding options.
MAC v8.x.x has a few bugs in the color management world; crashes when
dealing with alias in the System folder>Preferences>Color Profiles
folder; alias in the System folder>Color Profiles folder that extend
to other menus. I found a workaround for this, but (uh) I can't
remember.
Also: CorelDraw comes bundled with Corel PhotoPaint and CorelTrace, a
surprisingly useful tool for creating lineart from raster. I find it
more powerful and easier to use than Adobe Streamline.
I've just begun exploring paperweight v10 versions on MAC & PC.
