I've worked on a number of the billboard printers, and frankly I've found
that they are usually a bit "noisy" (artifacts within the screen area) as
well as having a low screen. I've tried 6 and 8mm apertures, scanning and
not scanning and have found them to work, but my finest results have been
done using 16 or 20mm apertures (like on our 938) these have consistently
worked for me, and my customers. There is a handy reference on our web site

this was taken from CGATS 4, where the lowest screen rule is 65mm - sorry.
