make better Profiles?
I don't think there is a significant difference as far as I can tell from
the tests I did (which were not scientific). I can build a 288 patch RGB
profile using EyeOne and 288 in ProfileMaker Pro using the DTP-41. There are
a few options in ProfileMaker Pro (the preserve paper gray verses axis) that
isn't available in the EyeOne software but the output I've seen has been
pretty close. I'm sure someone here who has the will and equipment will find
a way to measure the measuring devices. For now, I can say that the quality
of the profiles I've made with EyeOne package have been typically top notch
Gretag. One can save the spectral data generated from EyeOne and load it
into the Measure Tool in ProfileMaker and of course generate a profile
there.
