Download ResEdit for the Mac (free):
http://www.resexcellence.com/resedit.shtml
It allows you to alter the Mac creator file info.
- Run ResEdit
- Select -> File -> "Get File/Folder Info"
- navigate and highlight to the ICC file transferred
- select "get info"
- change file type to "prof"
- change creator to "sync"
- close (and accept the prompt to save changes"
et...voila
