Perhaps you haven't yet heard of the Eye-One from GretagMacbeth???

It's quite a good product but based on the new release from GretagMacbeth
(and the rumors of patient issues) plus the fact that the Eye-One comes with
some superb software, I'd look there. As for support from the SpectroCam,
there is no direct support in CompassProfile. You have to load a data file
of the spectral data you measure in the software that comes with the
SpectroCam. The only product I know of off hand that supports direct support
is ColorBlind (Pro and I think Matchbox). Otherwise what you do is use the
Spectrocam software to read the spectral data and save out a text file
formatted for the software you have (assuming it can import that data which
most products can do).
