Monitor Profiles Missing

I installed a new system folder (Mac OS 9.1) and copied my custom monitor
profiles (made with Optical 3.1) from my previous system folder to the new
ColorSync folder.

Those profiles are not being displayed in the Monitors Control Panel, and I
cannot select them.

What's going wrong? Is this come kind of Optical protection (customer
annoyance) scheme?

Shouldn't I be able to drag my custom profiles to a new System Folder and
expect them to work?
