Hi all, has anyone had luck creating a good profile for the Kodak 8600.

I used to work on an 8650 PS, a printer supported by LogoProof for Kodak (the product that eventually evolved into GretagMacbeth iQueue).

The Kodak dye subs come in two versions, PostScript versions you can send a CMYK test chart and non-PostScript versions you can print to in one of two ways,

a. through the OS QuickDraw (Mac OS) / Graphics Device Interface (Windows) pipeline, and

b. through the direct Photoshop API using a SCSI dump to the printer (the subs have a SCSI connection at the back).

You need to tell us which printing pipeline you are using, or we can't help you.
