Docucolor 12 and Quark

Hello all;

We have just bought a Docucolor 12 with Fiery X12. Printing from Quark,
the images get very dark using the standard profiles (Fiery Docucolor
v2F, MaxPPMk v2 or HiGCR v2F).
However it's quite good from Freehand.
Must we always create personal profiles? (we are waiting for the
densitometer).

Any option to improve the result from Quark with the standard profiles?
Which format is better (tiff vs. eps, rgb vs.cmyk)?

Regards,
Aitor Asencor
