Relative vs Absolute in BestColor

Can anyone help explain why I am getting Cyan ink in my whites when printing
using Relative Colorimetric? I expected to get paper white, but still get a
small amount of Cyan ink in the whites. I would expect this in Absolute
Colorimetric and in fact do get a substantial amount more ink when using
Absolute, but Relative does not produce a paper white as expected.

I am building my output profile using Kodak Profile Tools and am using the
BestColor Ref5 as my reference. I am printing on an Epson 10000CF using
BestColor XXL and the Epson SemiGloss Proofing Paper @ 1440.

It is rather frustrating when things do not behave as expected.
Is it possible that this coloration is coming from my Output profile?

Thanks,

-Scott Griswold
