Braggart. :} You must come from a large family too...just like my
brother &$*#^!
Anyway; since we last left off I updated to OS9.1, scrubbed all
AdobePS drivers, Acrobat versions and distillers, installed
AdobePS8.7.2 (again), installed PM7 (after uninstalling because PM7
will not replace corrupted, installed files), reinstalled Acrobat 5.0
and I still have a no go. Not to mention Extensis Suitcase 8.2 and
v9.0 cause -23 errors in the AdobePS driver rendering both unusable.
Also, of note: PM7 has a patch (csyncmsg.swb.sit)@
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/main.html for -1010 errors and
freezes.
ps: PM7 install still puts 1994/96 Kodak and other dated profiles
into the SystemFolder>PreferencesFolder>ColorSync Profiles folder.
Also loads old Microsoft library files. Also Mac version file
converter won't open PM6.52 files: recommended fix is to use
FileTyper prior to opening. Windows version file converter fix is in.
pps: PM7 has a pretty new logo. AND a new Pantone Library which is
not active upon install. You have to move it from its stored locale
into the RSRC>Color folder and replace the old one yourself. This is
to prevent legacy file color from remapping against your intended
wishes.
