Does the Imacon III support 8x10 format?
It's not a flatbed. It's a drum scanner. The film does wrap around a drum
but what is unique is that due to the flexible carriers, only the sides of
the drum hold the film so there is nothing between the film itself and the
light source, CCD. That means no additional dust (on a drum), no tape
needed, no gel, no newton rings.
The scanner will do 8x10 reflective but not transmissive. However the bigger
brother (the Pregression) will do 8x10 chromes or negs.
