Greetings again.

Just spent another 5hrs doing tests with the Generations 4 (6-color) ink on
my 7000 using various high-end papers, including prints with skin tones,
neutrals and ProfileCities' RGB target chart.

Using the canned Epson PhotoQualityInkJet ICC (1440), and Concord Rag,
Somerset PE, and Legion Photo Matte.

As MIS and GEN4 are my first experience with pigment-base ink -- I must
further comment the GEN4's metamerism appears EXTREME from balanced-looking
neutrals in tungsten light to a significantly green neutrals when viewed in
soft daylight.

In fact, I can't imagine any ink being more susceptible to metamerism.
Is it comparable to the Epson 7500 ink?

I can add the MIS prints exhibit much less metamerism and the MIS prints of
ProfileCities' target chart appear a lot cleaner (more detailed bars,
smoother gradations) overall.

As GEN4 ink came highly recommended to me, I am wondering if metamerism is a
know problem on these papers, if anyone may know what the problem is (and
what might fix it) -- please help.

I can also add that the GEN4 prints POP! off the print when nailed in
tungsten lighting. It seems more of an artistic rendering though, than a
commercial interpretation of the pixels (based on what I see in the target
charts alone).

PS: All I have to evaluate what I am experiencing are my eyes and many
years buying color on a daily basis.
