Well, since all these issues are real and legitimate, perhaps the question
should be: why isn't there a jot of criticism of the EyeOne, and why is
there a coordinated Jump-on-David response whenever I mention these or any
other problem points? It concerns me that there seems to be a concerted
effort to ensure nothing but praise is ever uttered for this product! Below
you note criticisms of the Cinema Display (ones I have noted and discussed
myself)... should we both expect to be shouted down for noting these issues?

I can only speak for myself, but I haven't criticized the i1 as of yet
because it hasn't given me any problems. It produces great profiles and is
quick and easy to use. I suspect that this may be the reason many others
have spoken positively about it as well. For me, at least, the reason I
asked regarding your posts was for a couple of reasons. Please correct me
if I am mistaken as I don't have time to read the archives regarding this,
but aside from certain problematic issues you feel are important to bring
up, I don't recall you mentioning anything positive about the device which
honestly struck me as quite strange. Secondly, the problems you mention
appear somewhat more theoretical in nature as opposed to real hands-on
problems. The majority of these more theoretical problems, by the way,
could be ascribed to just about all devices and software available. Of
course nobody should be shouted down, and I don't get that impression, but I
did want to ask about seeming negative auto-response any time anyone posts
something positive about their experience with the product.
