I do not know what editor can fix this, but it would need to change the grid
to an odd number (which requires a bunch of interpolations) AND force pure
white (Lab = 100, 0, 0) to no-print (CMYK = 0, 0, 0, 0).
Incidentally, what profile package made the offending profile? Just
curious...

A friend a couple of provinces and three or four states away had this
profile made for him by a local (Epson) dealer. He sent it to me
because of 'grain issues.' Tags reveal no software version or version
number, but it has 8 bit>6gp table A2B0 and a 32gp>8bit B2A0.
Compared to one of my own media profiles (photobase paper) in
Rotator (colorthink) the 3d model reveals it to share the same gamut
width but is very shallow in saturation (less than half) and, of
course, renders the dreaded scumdot.
