Given the lengthy discussions about instruments and software that
fail to deal correctly with UV brighteners in papers, I would
strongly recommend that people do the exact opposite.
In fact, anytime your eyes tell you one thing and your instruments
tell you another, trust your eyes (after first being very sure what
your eyes are actually telling you).
Color management is a wonderful tool, but it's just a tool. Unless
all your imagery is created for non-human viewers, eyeballs are
always the ultimate arbiter.
