Hi All,
I have in my files many images that I had scanned and prepared earlier,
before I used Photoshop 6 Color management. When I open these images now
in Adobe RGB, they look too saturated, so I have found through different
testing that opening them and assigning Bruce's RGB produces about the
right colors (Bruce, you saved me again ;-). I want to use these images
for the web and I am on Mac, so naturally I convert them to sRGB before
using the "save for the web" command. What happens then is that the
yellows-oranges, mostly, are clipped by sRGB and the images look bluish.
Instead of having to over-correct with Photoshop's color tools, would
there be a way to have sRGB match the Bruce RGB preview simply by
working with different profiles, for example applying another profile
than Bruce's, one that would push the colors that are then clipped by
sRGB? Thanks in advance!
