What do you mean? How did you have Photoshop 5 set up? Photoshop 6 should
produce files that look pretty much the same as Photoshop 5 if you have used
the CMS features in 5 and 6 correctly and are working with the same
profiles. I say pretty much because Adobe fixed some little problems (issue)
in Photoshop 6. For example, Black Point Compensation isn't identical
between the two versions. It's actually a lot better in Photoshop 6. There
was some minor tweaking to the "color engine" but again, there shouldn't be
much differences between the two and where there is, Photoshop 6 is going to
produce better results. Adobe added some new CMYK profiles (version 2) but
there is no reason you couldn't use the older profiles (although the new
ones I hear are superb).
