Solux is technically better, but run very hot, use a lot of electricity, and
have a short life span before losing color accuracy; so are not very
practicla for general lighting. Generic 5000k are not nearly as good as
Ott-Lite, if you can afford the Ott-Lites they have very good color, low
glare, are stable over time, and make excellent lighting in many ways beyond
proofing light.
