I am trying to get my monitor to match a Fuji Color Art prepress proof. In
Photoshop 6, I am using RGB working space= Color Match RGB. CMYK = Fuji
Proof CRT-3 ( ICC profile ). or US Sheetfed V2, both are pretty close
overall, except I would like to make the cyans, greens, and dark blues a
little darker. If I choose custom CMYK , I get the ink colors dialog box
with several inks to choose from: Toyo, Swop, Eurostandard, Dainippon, and
Ad Litho. But no US Sheetfed V2. When I choose " Custom" from the ink list
I get the ink tables with Lab or Yxy values, and I can plug in new values
or even pick colors from the color picker to get the cyan, green, and blues
darker, but everything else is way off because all of the other ink colors
are not based on the US Sheetfed inks. When you go to "Custom" inks, the
values in the table are what ever ink in the list that was last choosen. I
have even taken lab readings of "our" printing inks and Fuji colors and
plugged in the values, but the closest so far has been the Fuji profile or
the US Sheetfed V2. I would like to know what the Lab or Yxy values are of
the US Sheetfed V2 inks so I can tweek some other colors for a closer
match.
