I'm supposing that the LaCie comes bundled with software? If not, this is
more than twice as expensive as OptiCal/Spyder. If it DOES include
software, it weighs in at around $575ish I believe, while the OptiCal/Spyder
is $425ish. So there's one variable to look at.

For what it's worth, the LaCie BlueEye just came down in price $75-100. It runs just under $500. Still pricey, but a bit better. It does include software.
