Wrong conclusion...Lab to CMYK is Perceptual BtoA0 and CMYK to Lab is

That was what would expect, but it's not what I'm seeing.
I see a distinct difference between prescan and final scan, and I didn't
fiddle with anything after doing the prescan, other than the Color
Assistant. And after checking with two profiles where I've edited
CMYK-to-Lab Perceptual intent on one profile and Colorimetric on the other,
and tried them both out, I can't draw any other conclusions.

I'm not sure what profile editing software you used or how that works.
I used Kodak Custom Color ICC v.2.0, which will allow you to edit either
Lab-to-CMYK or CMYK-TO-Lab, and edit either Perceptual, Colorimetric, or
Saturation intents, one at a time.
Henrik, I know you're more than familiar with Linocolor, so if you want to
check it out yourself I wouldn't mind sending you the two profiles in
question. Same goes for anyone else interested btw.
