So the conclusion to this is that Linocolor must use perceptual rendering
intent (cmyk to monitor) for prescans, and Colorimetric for final scans.

Wrong conclusion...Lab to CMYK is Perceptual BtoA0 and CMYK to Lab is Relative Colorimetric with 'Proof with mediea white point' unchecked and Absolute Colorimetric with 'Proof with media white point' checked.

I'm not sure what profile editing software you used or how that works.
