The black is rather a function of the linearise function in Best and not as
much the profiles. I don't know for sure that the Best screens take
advantage of the variable dot for the black. The numbers you put down would
normally add black and you could reduce that amount of black in the profile
creation but I don't think you could eliminate it. You wouldn't be able to
output correctly with the Epsons in cmy mode as the blacks will be muddy.
You might want to use ink assistant in Best and create a linearise table
with more 3 colour and a steeper reduced black.
