Epson 1270 mystery

Typically I print to the Photo 1270 and use the "Photo Enhance - Nature" setting which works nicely for most of my needs. However, a new piece I'm working on is giving me the message: "This document cannot be printed with PhotoEnhance selected" and "An error occurred - general printer failure - 7815-5218".

Here's the setup: cut sheet panoramic paper (8x24") with the appropriate paper size setting; printing the layout through Adobe Pagemaker 6.0.

Has anyone encountered this problem? Is there a work-around other than trial & error tweaking of sliders to get the look close to the PhotoEnhance - Nature setting?

Thanks for sharing your insights,
Chuck
