CB Matchbox Lin target

Hi,

I'm trying to profile a non-chooser level printer in Colorblind Matchbox (v.
4.0). Followed the instructions (p. 42-43) on printing a CMYK EPS file for
linearization and profiling.

The resulting target does not match the target on the screen. The printed
version has 1A - 1J and 13 rows while the one on the screen has a column 1K
and only 12 rows. I believe this is the same target just laid out in a
different manner, thus the patches will not read in the same order. It is
definately not the profiling target.

My workflow consists of a mac networked to an NT workstation through "Dave"
and printing from the PC directly to a ESP 7500 via a parallel connection.
Praxisoft's Mach 1 RIP resides on the NT 4 machine and drives the printer.

I'd love to streamline this workflow, if possible. Right now I have to copy
files for printing to the c drive on the PC through Dave, then walk over to
the PC and open the file in Mach 1, configure the CM, and print. Is there
any possibility of making this workflow more seemless and/or automated?

Any suggestions on the target descrepency and the overall workflow are
appreciated.

Thanks,

Tim
