I ve had luck with the Griffin iMate adb-usb adaptor.
It worked with ViewOpen and the Sequel Chroma III (the round one)

The LaCie Blue Eye Calibrator is on their compatibility list (with a note)
as well as the Sequel.

There are issues that this kind of adaptors interfere with certain
system extensions and control panels.
I ve found it conflicting with appletalk and adobe typemanager on
some machines. So if you get into trouble, you should use a minimal
system set with only the things you need to calibrate the device.
