In defense of Colorblind Edit

I was fascinated to hear that Edit is carrying a bunch old baggage. I
think the truth is more like its taken everyone else quite a while to
even come close to the capabilities of this product. Not only is it
still an excellent profile editor, it is also a very robust and flexible
image editor. The tool set is extensive and laid out in a common sense
manner .For those of us who care about file repurposing, saving the raw
rgb file with edits attached is absolutely critical. Being able to deal
with grays separately from colors is a godsend. Combining the strength
of edit with Spot for matching critical product colors has been
invaluable. Photoshop 6 while finally having the necessary ICC
compatibility to be functional is still not as efficient as Edit, and I
can't think of a more dangerous tool (Pshop 6) in the hands of the
uninformed! They managed to bury Live Picture, but I won't let them get
my Colorblind Edit!
