hi,
I have BIG problems setting my calibration so that I see on screen what I
actually printed on my last print job.
MY QUESTIONS:
-How should I proceed to set RGB AND CMYK SETTING so that my screen fit the
result of the press-printing I've got in my hand. (because I went to print
with a certain file (which has an embeded profile) and there was a certain
shift of color and gamma on the resulting print).
-Also, how do I know the exact profile settings embeded in a file?
SITUATION:
I open a job I've done in Photoshop 5.5 and there is a profile mismatch
message poping up. (I probably changed my settings but they were probably
wrong in the first place.)
Any way I do it ("convert" or "do not convert") I can't get the colors
right. I've got an orange that is too yellow or too magenta or to brown...
but never do I get my color right on, unless I start working with the curves
in the dot gain custom settings (which Ipm not sure is a good thing when you
don't know what your're doing huh?.)
****I really need help with this at the moment, I am going to print end of
week... and I can't get it to work right.
awaiting you very needed replies!
