I am testing a new RGB target for profiling our Pictrography 4000 with
ProfileMaker. I would like to run the resulting profile on the target image
file reprint it and reread it to see how close it comes to ideal. I'm also
curious about wether any benefit can be gained by running two consecutive
profiles. i.e. Run the profile on the target print it read it and make a
second profile. Then try running the first and second profiles in
succession. The question is in doing the conversion what space should be
used as "source"? The target image is (naturally) untagged, and I don't
believe it has a native space. Should it be converted to Lab first? Any
ideas?
