I currently run a mish mash of different software to come up with printer,
scanner, monitor and Digicam Profiles.
PrintOpen, ScanOpen, Profile Maker for DigiCam and Optical for Monitor. I
also have a X-Rite DTP-41.
I do fine art reproduction and print to Epson 9000's and a Roland Hi-Fi Jet.
Out of the box what I get a better result using let's say colorblind Pro
with a Spectrolino? Or will I still have to do some tweaks to get the
profiles where I need them to be.
I am happy with my color right now but I am not sure on weather or not the
extra investment would make a difference. I realize there is no such thing
as a 100 % match to original in my business, but using the state of the art
Color Management software / hardware, how close should I be able to get?
Also can someone recommend a hi-end profile shop that I can compare profiles
made by them to my profiles?
