hello to the group
i have just calibrated and profiled 5 lacie 22s using photocal 2.1
i also have set 6500 as my color temp and have had no problems with grey
balance.
i have noticed some color shift over a short period. how often does everyone
recalibrate,
2 of my 22s are two years old, 1 is about a year old and 2 are brand new.
i am new to color management,so you can i have my hands full with my
monitors alone
i also have 2 scanners, 1 hell 3800 and topaz 2 to profile,i have been
scanning
RGB, coming fron a CMYK background.it has been a new concept.
i am using profile maker 3.1.3 to make my profiles.
i also have 2 kodak xp4s that are calibrated to match our presses,
and have profiled each format web/sheetfed using our 4 most common paper
stocks
i am loose proffing my scans using an epson 5000 profiled to match our xp4s.
as far as being an icc compliant printer we are taking steps toward being
compliant.
