You can use ResEdit to add the appropriate "Creator" info to the PC
profile so that it will be recognized by the Mac:-
1) Copy the PC ICC profile to the Mac (a network, MacOpener, email,
whatever works..)
2) Install and launch ResEdit
http://www.ResExcellence.com/resedit.shtml
3) Select File -> Get File Folder Info
4) Navigate to the PC ICC profile and Select "Get Info"
5) Change type to "prof" (without quotations)
Change creator to "sync"
"Inited" is selected under "Finder Flags"
6) Close the dialogue box and say "Yes" to save the changes.
7) Put the profile in the "System/Colorsync Profiles" folder.
I find Resedit very useful for fixing lost Creator info when transferring files
between PC's and Mac's (Photoshop, Acrobat, etc..) You can check the
file info of any file with a correct creator tag to see what the info should
be for that file type.
Hope this helps.
