If you are on a Macintosh these are stored in HardDrive:System
Folder:Application Support:Adobe:Color:Settings as *.csf files. If you
don't have these, then that's the problem. I would recommend finding
Photoshop 6 preferences and dumping them and see if that solves the
problem. If not then I would dump them and Photoshop, and the Adobe
folder in Application Support and reinstall Photoshop 6.

Note that using this Workflow has Photoshop defer it's settings to the
ColorSync control panel. That's all there is to it.
