Edward,
Thanks for the 9.1 thoughts. I too regularly frequent macfixit. I've looked
for an answer there and on Apple's boards with no luck. Several people have
reported display problems, but it probably is not too common. I've seen the
link to Colorsync 3.0.3 but have hoped for an official download. The
version that is making the rounds is from the last beta of 9.1. It's
definitely a strange problem. I wonder if it is display related or if is
somehow related to changes OSX beta made to my 9.04 system folder (9.1 is
installed on a separate drive, fresh install). From my liited testing 9.1
does seem more responsive. I believe it includes a new ppc native process
manager.
