LaCie 22" convergence adjustment

I'm having a serious problem with horizontal & vertical convergence
adjustment on my brand new LaCie 22" monitor: the convergence is adjustable
only on the center area of the monitor, while sides stays "out of register".
The problem is very serious & pictures does not look sharp. If somebody
experienced the same problem & know what to do - please help.
