the list since the last months but I haven't achived them.
Lightjets are very well mannered for profiling. If you are using an X-Rite
DTP41 strip reader you need to consider that there are white tip and tail
requirements for the strips and depending on whether you are using
develop-to-white or develop-to-black media the tails may need to be masked to
assure the strips will run. With a SpectroLino/SpectroScan or SpectroCam this
will not be an issue. The software best known for building CMYK press
profiles is not necessarily the leader for profiling such RGB devices.
Praxisoft's Compass Profile has been the preferred package over the last few
years. Currently I would suggest that ColorVision's ProfilerPRO using their
rather unique Saturation intent would offer unexcelled skintones and other
photo colors, while avoiding highlight casts and clogged shadows, and
offering a level of saturation in vector colors unmatched by any other
package (and previously unattainable through anything except unprofled
prints). Thats the best of both worlds with Lambdas and LightJets, to get
fully saturated colors and excellent photographic results in the same image.
