Are there any inkjet, dye-sub, or silver-halide
digital printers (lightjet, etc) that can take
advantage of a 16 bit/channel image, or do they all
convert the 16 bit file to 8 bits? Is there any
advantage to sending a 16 bit file to a printer? I
don't think we need all 16 bits but something more
than 8 would be an improvement. I know that it would
have to be in the 16 bit format.
