Praxisoft's Compass Profile has been the preferred
package over the
last few
years. Currently I would suggest that ColorVision's
ProfilerPRO using
their
rather unique Saturation intent would offer unexcelled
skintones and
other
photo colors, while avoiding highlight casts and
clogged shadows, and
offering a level of saturation in vector colors
unmatched by any other
package (and previously unattainable through anything
except unprofled
prints). Thats the best of both worlds with Lambdas
and LightJets, to
get
fully saturated colors and excellent photographic
results in the same
image.

I have been searching for about a month now for some
sort of clue as to which profiling software I should
choose for my photo paper writer applications. (We use
a Chromira and Frontier.) This is the first solid
positive statement I have seen which applies to our
situation. Is there anything, anywhere that would
constitute a reasonable apples-to-apples comparison of
the different software packages?
