MACH 1 is alive and well and better then ever. After severing ties with
Colorbyte, Praxisoft Teamed with Ergosoft and the results were spectacular.
The new RIP is very fast has excellent dithering charateristics, has a very
easy to use user interface and currently ships with a Coppy of ICC Autoflow
Windows for a complete workflow solution. It has a great media calibration
tool to customize ink paper combinations and its going to get even better
when Autoflow is fully intergrated in to the RIP interface. Ergosoft should
be congratulated on their user interface as it is by far the most
streamlined and easy to understand. This is what the large format market has
been desperately in need of for a long time. If you are in the market for a
3rd party RIP that supports ICC profiling and you have never operated a RIP
before you owe it to yourself to take a very close look at MACH 1.
