Hey Snape,
Remember when you though I was stupid and actually I was but I fooled
you into thinking I wasn't and then Henrik thought I was a goof but I
was actually a victim of after-market disinterest so filled with
sympathy he probably concluded I was a piteous peon blinded by the
nightlights of color management so he swerved and I ducked but was
saved by a savvy Chris and then I gave bad advice to Laura and
probably screwed up her Mac because I told her to download and
install Colorsync 3.0.3 overtop 2.6 but 3.0.x doesn't jive with OS8.6
on my home system and I never got back to her (yet) to find out if it
didn't jive with her's either because I'm so busy reading (and
forgetting) tomes like the Colorsync White Paper and the List
recommended by people like you when I've already read the dam 'tin
twice in my free time while also trying to follow how many lists
Steve and David can actually be on in a single day and even though I
still don't understand it all or got back to her I made up for it
somewhat by giving some relatively decent advice to people like Carol
and Neil and Phillip (I think? At least I haven't heard from their
lawyers...yet) but that still didn't make up for my merciless teasing
of Robert W. the Expatriot who has been lurking about ever since I
made fun of his Yankee friends (which might explain why all my other
email into the US is coming up blank of late) and now I wonder if the
list just plum scares people and they think this is some kind of
weird club inhabited by poor souls driven mad by CM and plagued by
techno-talking wunderkinds when they come pleading, as we all have,
to this group thinking all the while professionals lurk about here
waiting to lift us all up from the quagmire, which looks a lot like
CMY I might add, only to find that regardless of title we're really a
bunch of ne'erdowells pitching wild theories and punches at each
other's Lab values while spilling many drams of cheap scotch (and
beer) carelessly over the keyboard as we pause to rub our chins and
scratch our heads while composing rational sounding responses to
rational, irrational, valid and invalid pokes into the many holes
which reside in the world of color management (all the while
forgetting we all seek answers from a higher source which really
doesn't exist in one or the other but from all of us scratching the
same head)?
You don't?
Well I guess that means that sometimes some, if not all, is forgiven
and/or forgotten as we all move forward!
Let's pray for MachPeace and then go over the AdobeUserForums>Color
Management and make fun of Chris and Bruce?
