Just wanting to clarify: It sounds like you are saying that the original
MacBeth color charts are producing better profiles than the new DC charts. It
that's correct, why do you think that is?

That is exactly what I am saying. Why? Could not tell you. All I know is I did some
very carefully planned back to back testing and got very clear results. I do know
that building a good profile has less to do with a whole bunch of colors and more
to do with fewer of the right colors, and extremely controlled lighting. Evenness
and color balance are critical. If you shoot a target with 2 lights, they better
have matching color temperatures,
