Messing around with PDF workflows it turns out the Pshop 601 PDF with

I don't know which side needs to do something, probably Quark...(snip)
It's Quark.
I (not Quark I gather) had hoped this would be resolved in PDF Filter
1.5 which came out last August and was incorporated into 4.1, but to
no avail and I haven't checked recently for any new updates.
And according to D.Blatner & B.Fraser in RealWorld PhotoShop 6
"QuarkXpress 4.1 contains a bug which prevents it from recognizing
embedded paths in EPS and TIFF files saved from Photoshop 6...the
only workaround is to save the image as an EPS image (which may not
appear right o screen, but prints correctly) or save the image from
Photoshop 5.x."
...which is what we do in our shop.
With that in mind though, I never did try setting up a custom page in
Photoshop to precisely support the size and shape of a PS PDF to be
imported into Quark. I might have to revisit this....hmmm...
Am I on the right track here Chris? Or just tiff-concentric? Are
there any new updates on this issue?
