Why? Gamut warning. Try this:
- View:Proof Setup:Custom...
- Choose your monitor profile
- do not preserve color numbers
- relative colorimetric intent
save as a proof setup
Now, if you are curious if the working space contains image colors
that are outside the gamut of your monitor (and are then clipped),
select your proof setup and turn on the gamut warning. All colors
outside of your monitor gamut will be highlighted.
That's a great trick!
