That's because its an RGB profile, not a CMYK profile. The directions you are
attempting to follow aren't designed for your type of printer.
It's in the ColorSync folder in my System Folder and shows up in

Go to www.colorcal.com, and download the ProfilerRGB user guide. It has lots
of stuff in it you won't need (unless you decide to get a custom profiling
application) but it covers how to apply a profile properly (three methods
described, with screen shots) and should assist you in your process.
