An approximated Dot gain you also can calculate, but it's more complicated
task. You'll need PrintOpen (or any other profiler software which shows dot
gain curves during profile creation).
During our demo of PO 4.0 we noticed the before, the during, but
outside of PO there was no after. I think (therefore I could be
wrong) the original question implied: Is there any straght forward
dot gain value which can be read from a profile after generation by
another app?
Testform for it can be generated from
the analized profile in Logo ColorLab. But remember - all of this extracted
datas are only aproximation, not the exact values!
